Description: 2 Positions to Fill. Our public enterprise client is looking for an Intermediate Procurement Specialist to conduct bidding process and negotiate contracts for one year

Duties: 
  • Conduct bidding processes and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage a portfolio of contracts ensuring timely sourcing or renewal
  • Prepare, write, and review legal contracts
 Must Have:
  • 5+ years' experience developing bid documents (RFP/RFIQ/ITT, etc.)
  • 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and direct purchasing of good and services
  • 3+ years' experience in negotiating vendor contracts
  • Procurement experience in the public sector
  • Created bid/tenders for a public entity
  • Knowledge of legal issues as they relate to the procurement of goods and services
  • Able to comply with safety policy 
  • SCMA Accreditation or equivalent designation and/or a Business Degree or equivalent, e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain, Business Operations
 Nice to Have
  • Experience in the service side or in IT
Specialization and Skills:
Supply Chain Procurement 5 - 7 years
Priority Requirements: Can you elaborate your experience with developing bid documents? (5 - 7 years)
Describe your experience in supply chain and procurement? (5 - 7 years)
Work Environment: 1 year contract to start with extremely high chance of continuous renewal and /or full time job offer. Start date is an estimate only and based on when the successful candidate is available

Preference will be given to BC residents that can work on a hybrid model. Successful candidate will need to be in the office once a month.
